The General Assembly, which plays a key role in the decisions and implementation of the Association, is unable to meet due to the ongoing corona epidemic. According to the constitution of the Free Trade Zones and Public Service Employees Union, meetings should be held at least once in 3 months.
The main function of the General Assembly is to approve the decisions taken by the Executive Committee once a month and to discuss how to implement and formulate methods. The officers of all branches of the union and the members of the committee qualify as members of the General Assembly where the current political situation in the country affects the workers and the general society.
Following the end of the curfew, the General Assembly was held in August 2020 in Ja-Ela Ekala in accordance with the Government Health Guidelines. Here are the photos taken there..
